Bill Favors' 1969 911E

The associated pictures are of my 1969 911E located in Indiana. The car is relatively original, minus a few parts that I am still looking for. I am the third owner and I purchased the car from a lady who moved from California and obtained the car from her husband in a divorce settlement – his misfortunes are my gain. The car has 88,500 miles on it and can be driven daily, although I keep it in the garage so that my 993 will not get lonely and only drive it on weekends.

The pictures are from each side and the back, as well as two shots of the engine. I am especially proud of the engine bay, having just finished that area. As you can see I have cleaned, painted and or replaced most all parts. I replaced the fiber engine compartment backing with a heat reflective material and finished the engine compartment in a satin black finish. Note also that I am still using the MFI, although I disconnected the auxiliary starting " fuel squirter" to eliminate the chance of undesirable fires within the air cleaner housing.
